MGAC in Ashburn, Virginia is seeking a Data Center Construction – Junior to Mid Project Manager to oversee critical environment projects from design through completion. You will lead on-site teams and coordinate with clients, A&E professionals, and contractors to keep data center builds on schedule and within budget.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in construction project management, 2+ years in data centers or similar critical environments, and MEP experience in ground-up construction.

• Bachelors, Associates, or equivalent experience in a construction-related discipline.
• 2+ years of experience managing critical environment construction projects (e.g., data centers, labs, hospitals).

What Youll Be Doing

MGACs Critical Environments team manages the construction of data centers and hospitals with deep industry expertise. We act as owners representativesresolving issues, managing conflicts, and guiding informed decisions to keep projects on track. As a Project Manager at MGAC, you will lead incredible, resume-building, high-visibility projects.

Project Leadership

• Independently manage the full scope of projects while simultaneously managing components of others.

• Mentor and lead teams while managing schedule, scope, and budget.

• Lead project risk management, contingency planning, and schedule and budget recovery planning.

• Achieve and maintain the clients vision as a trusted partner.

Financial and Contract Management

• Ensure timely invoicing and collection.

• Identify and secure add-services opportunities.

Collaboration and Communication

• Maintain collaborative relationships with clients, A&E professionals, contractors/GCs, vendors, and other teams.

• Anticipate project and team risks; solve complex challenges and conflicts.

• Conduct requirements gathering and needs assessments.

Salary Range

$90,000 - $140,000 per year (commensurate with experience)

The advertised salary range is intended as a general guideline and may vary based on factors such as experience, expertise, and location. This base salary does not reflect the full compensation package, which may include bonuses, a 401(k) match, and other benefits.
