Job summary

Gilder Search Group seeks an Assistant Project Manager for Data Center Construction in Bloomsburg, PA. You will lead engineering and design efforts for facility systems, while overseeing design reports, client meetings, and project delivery from start to finish.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience managing Data Centers / Critical Facilities Design Projects.
• Familiar with design process of building systems for data centers and mission-critical projects.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Architecture (MUST).
• P.E. license / AIA – either have these certs or working towards it.
• PMP certification a plus.
• Experience managing engineering projects in engineering consulting / A/E / MEP.
• Project management experience in consulting engineering.

Responsibilities

• Interface with clients to define project requirements; establish work plan and deadlines.
• Manage client interface and expectations with face-to-face, phone, and email communication.
• Assist with managing multiple projects; support design reports, proposals (RFPs) and client meetings.
• Track progress against goals, timelines, and budgets; generate reports and financial forecasts.
• Monitor expenses to stay within budget; provide leadership to project team.
• Collaborate with internal/external team members, contractors, and suppliers.
• Follow company policies and procedures; support market penetration strategies.
• Manage business development for new/future projects in the area.
• Oversee a team of engineers and technical staff.
