Job summary

Meta seeks a Connectivity Engineer to join the Edge & Network Services team. You will manage the full project lifecycle for data center connectivity projects, from kickoff through production turnover, coordinating with cross-functional partners at the Data Center Headquarters and on-site teams.

You will lead planning, vendor coordination, quality assurance, safety, and field engineering activities to ensure on-time delivery within budget, while applying industry standards and Meta's

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in project management within data center, telecommunications, or construction environments.
• Experience engaging and guiding stakeholders.
• Experience providing solutions to construction related problems.
• Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and MS Project.
• Experience with Quality Assurance and Quality Control, including progressive inspections and acceptance.
• Experience with outside plant cabling (OSP) deployments, including OTDR/OLTS testing.

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and report on-site project scope, schedules, and milestones.
• Learnings - document data points to assist field coordination and cross-functional alignment.
• Forecasting - support forecasting and budget efforts and ensure clear handoffs.
• Technical Reviews - establish milestones for equipment purchase and contractor selection.
• Quality Assurance - validate vendor work and ensure constructability reviews.
• Technical Field Lead - lead product evaluation, design, and field installation methods.
