  • Manage and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, including project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, and third-party commissioning agents.
  • Oversee risk management and recovery strategies for schedule, system readiness, and critical path impacts.
  • Ensure quality assurance, code compliance, redundancy requirements, and system reliability are met.
  • Lead client-facing meetings and presentations, providing technical expertise and progress reporting.
  • Partner with preconstruction teams to review design documents, anticipate challenges, and optimize system sequencing.
  • Drive continuous improvement by integrating technology tools, standardizing commissioning workflows, and mentoring project teams.
  • Manage final project turnover, including complete documentation, owner training, and lessons learned.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 8–10+ years of experience in commissioning for mission-critical or data center projects with a general contractor.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Proven experience leading commissioning for large-scale, complex MEP and critical infrastructure systems.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and third-party commissioning agents.
  • Deep knowledge of construction sequencing, testing protocols, and integrated systems commissioning.
  • Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex system interactions under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent client-facing communication and reporting skills.
  • Experience delivering hyperscale or enterprise-level data center projects for leading clients.
  • Proficiency with Primavera P6, Procore, BIM 360, and commissioning management software.
  • Familiarity with industry standards (ASHRAE, NEBB, BCA) and mission-critical reliability practices.

  • Tuition reimbursement program for pursuits outside position.
  • Sponsorship for continuing education for career pursuits.
  • 40 hours of volunteer time off (VTO) for causes you support in addition to PTO.
  • Employee boot voucher program.
  • Access to StrongerWork optimal mental health services.
