Job summary

Dewberry Engineers Incorporated is seeking a Data Center Engineer to join our growing site/civil practice. The role focuses on supporting technical teams in data center and site development projects across our national network, with emphasis on detailed design, permitting, and client collaboration.

The successful candidate will have a BS in Civil Engineering, 3+ years of relevant experience, proficiency with AutoCAD/Civil 3D and Microsoft Office, and a demonstrated ability to manage multiple

Qualifications

• BS degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years' progressive design experience directly related to site/civil development projects.
• PE license preferred
• Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft office is required.
• Proven track record of meeting project and client deadlines.
• Works in a timely fashion to meet project budgets.
• Communicates effectively with clients, coworkers, sub consultants, and review agency staff.
• Composes technical reports, memorandums and other written communication such as email.
• Ability to multi-task and work simultaneously on several projects at once.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate and support teams in all aspects of a given project to develop detailed design documents for construction plans.
• Site/civil development including grading design, etc.
• Preparation of all associated calculations, reports and spreadsheets.
• Conduct code research, write specifications, and obtain permitting.
