Amazon’s Data Center Engineering Operations team maintains critical infrastructure across global data centers. You will act as the primary escalation point for facilities issues, oversee routine and emergency services on power, cooling, and monitoring systems, and collaborate with IT managers to coordinate projects.

About the team: AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment to ensure continual access to our customers. You’ll join a diverse team of software, hardware, network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles, collaborating across AWS to deliver safety, security, and efficiency at scale.
Physical Requirements: Willingness and ability to work in the following physical conditions with reasonable accommodations: regularly lift up to 39 pounds; participate in group lifts for 40+ pounds; climb ladders; maintain balance; walk and use hands and fingers; reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb stairs; work in an environment requiring ear protection.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and RSUs. Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
