Job summary

Align Communications in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Data Center Cabling Project Manager / Supervisor to lead large, low-voltage cabling installations for AI and hyperscale data centers across the U.S. You will oversee planning, standards, field execution and safety, driving projects to on-time completion.

You will lead field teams and coordinate subcontractors to deliver installations from start to finish, with 75% travel to various project sites nationwide.

• Build and manage cabling tracking sheets (pull patch schedules)
• Supervise and coordinate subcontractors and internal crews to keep projects on schedule.
• Perform on-site quality checks - verifying terminations, labeling, routing, and test results.
• Monitor project progress and timelines; communicate changes and updates to leadership and clients.
• Manage documentation including submittals, RFIs, change orders, and invoicing.
• Enforce safety rules and lead daily toolbox talks with field teams.
• Report daily field progress and any issues impacting schedules or budgets.

Position Overview

As the Data Center Cabling Project Manager / Supervisor, you will lead and manage large, cabling installations for major AI and hyperscale data centers across the U.S. You’ll oversee all aspects of low-voltage cabling, from planning and standards to field execution, and make sure everything is installed safely, correctly, and on schedule.

You do not need prior Project Manager experience to be considered. We're looking for experienced leaders with strong data center cabling backgrounds who have successfully led field teams and installations. If you've worked as a Data Center Cabling Superintendent, Cabling Superintendent, Cabling Lead, Lead Technician, Lead Fiber Technician, Foreman, Field Supervisor, Site Supervisor, Installation Supervisor, or similar leadership role, we'd love to hear from you. If you've been leading crews, managing projects in the field, coordinating subcontractors, and driving installations from start to finish, this role may be a great fit.
