Job summary

Align Communications seeks a Technical Project Manager to lead large-scale data center cabling deployments across the U.S. You will plan, coordinate, document, report, and drive end-to-end project delivery, collaborating with clients, field teams, vendors, and leadership to ensure safety, schedule adherence, and budget compliance.

The ideal candidate has experience with AI infrastructure, data center cabling, or other IT infra for large deployments, and can travel up to ~50% with relocation

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience in data center or similar tech infra.
• Experience coordinating multiple teams, vendors, and locations.
• Strong organizational and customer-facing communication skills.
• Proficiency with Excel and project management/scheduling platforms.

Responsibilities

• Manage data center cabling and infrastructure projects from planning through closeout.
• Create and maintain schedules, budgets, milestones, risk logs, and resource plans.
• Coordinate with clients, field teams, subcontractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
• Track progress, identify risks, and resolve schedule or deployment issues.
• Manage RFIs, change orders, submittals, status reports, and closeout docs.
• Track materials, equipment readiness, labor, costs, and change orders.
• Lead client and internal project meetings with clear status updates.
• Partner with Superintendents and Foremen to meet project requirements.
• Support QA/QC, testing, commissioning, turnover, and closeout.
