Job summary

Amazon in Manassas, VA is hiring Infra Delivery Install Technicians to move and install large enterprise equipment, install cabling, and support data-center infrastructure. You will travel regionally, work with cross-functional teams, and ensure safety and reliability of our network hardware.

You will perform hands-on hardware installation, cabling, and patching, while following established procedures to maintain uptime and support the global AWS cloud footprint.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of Computer Hardware Repair, Infrastructure Cabling, Network Deployment, or Data Center Operations experience.
• Experience with cabling infrastructure best practices and methodologies.
• Knowledge of network cabling, optic types, and test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Move and install large enterprise equipment.
• Install Fiber and Copper cabling and patching between equipment.
• Ensure safety and security standards during cabling and rack installation.
• Follow established hardware installation procedures and break-fix activities.
• Safely use material handling tools and equipment.
• Travel within and outside regional work area; have a reliable personal vehicle and valid driver’s license.
