Job summary

AWS is seeking an experienced Technical Infrastructure Program Manager in Herndon, VA, Seattle, WA or Chicago, IL to oversee data center build projects. You will lead cross-functional teams from design feasibility through budget, schedule, and deployment, driving for faster delivery and eliminating blockers.

You will demonstrate strong communication, handle ambiguity, and understand mechanical/electrical concepts while applying project management tools across the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of technical infrastructure management experience.
• Knowledge of best practices and emerging technologies related to infrastructure (network, data center, hardware, software).
• Experience with varying scenarios of infrastructure builds.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver end-to-end data center builds with cross-functional teams.
• Map dependencies, create and drive schedules, and remove blockers to accelerate delivery.
• Apply project management tools and techniques across scope, schedule, budget, resources, quality and risk.
