Qualifications

• Significant experience with canonical data modeling across enterprise domains.
• Strong background in semantic modeling and data mesh principles.
• Hands-on Kafka experience with event modeling and real-time pipelines.
• Proficiency in AWS data services (S3, Redshift, Glue, EMR, Lambda) and Snowflake.
• Strong SQL and Python; excellent cross-team communication.
• Knowledge of data governance, metadata, lineage, and data quality.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance canonical data models, semantic models, and domain-driven data contracts for cross-enterprise interoperability.
• Produce conceptual, logical, and physical data models aligned to business capabilities and data mesh principles.
• Design and implement data architecture patterns for real-time streaming using Kafka.
• Collaborate with product owners, domain architects, and data engineering teams to translate requirements into scalable models.
• Ensure governance, metadata management, and lineage standards across data domains.
• Architect and optimize data pipelines and storage using AWS services and Snowflake.
• Contribute architectural artifacts, standards, and templates for enterprise data modeling.
• Support real-time data integration and AI/ML enablement through strong data foundations.
