Job summary

Tiger Analytics, LLC is seeking an experienced Data Architect to lead enterprise data modernization, designing scalable architectures and real-time streaming with Kafka, AWS, and Snowflake. You will drive canonical and semantic modeling, data contracts, and data governance across domains.

Collaborating with product owners and data teams, you will translate business needs into scalable data models and pipelines that enable analytics and AI/ML initiatives for global clients.

Qualifications

• Significant experience with canonical data modeling and enterprise-wide conceptual/logical/physical modeling.
• Strong background in semantic modeling and data mesh design principles.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka, including event modeling, schema strategy, and real-time pipeline architecture.
• Proficiency in AWS data services (S3, Redshift, Glue, EMR, Lambda) and Snowflake.
• Strong SQL skills and proficiency in Python.
• Excellent communication skills across technical and business teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance canonical data models and semantic models to enable cross-enterprise data interoperability.
• Produce conceptual, logical, and physical data models aligned to business capabilities and modernization goals.
• Design and implement data architecture patterns to support real-time streaming using Kafka.
• Collaborate with product owners and data teams to translate business needs into scalable data models.
• Ensure governance, metadata management, and lineage standards across data domains.
• Architect and optimize data pipelines and storage solutions using AWS and Snowflake.
• Contribute architectural artifacts and reusable templates for enterprise data modeling.
