Job summary

Highbrow LLC is seeking a Data Architect (Logistics & Data Warehousing) for a remote role focused on scalable data warehouses and pipelines powering inventory and logistics reporting.

You will design data models, set API integration standards, govern data quality, optimize performance in cloud platforms, and collaborate with executives and analytics teams to align architecture with business goals.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and building scalable data warehousing and data pipelines for large-scale inventory and logistics reporting.
• Define API architecture and protocols for seamless data ingestion and integration across ERP/WMS/TMS.
• Design data models powering operational dashboards, supply chain tracking, and logistics metrics.
• Collaborate with executives, project managers, supply chain teams, and external partners to align architecture with business goals.
• Establish data governance, security, data quality, and best practices across the data ecosystem.
• Monitor and tune cloud data platforms to optimize performance and costs.

Responsibilities

• Architecture & Strategy: Design, build, and maintain high-performance, scalable data warehousing systems and data pipelines tailored for large-scale inventory and logistics reporting.


• API & Data Integration: Define API architecture and protocols for seamless data ingestion, extraction, and real-time/batch integration between data warehouses and core business applications (e.g., ERP, WMS, TMS).


• Inventory & Logistics Reporting: Partner with analytics and business intelligence teams to design data models that power operational dashboards, supply chain tracking, inventory optimization, and logistics metrics.


• Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with executive leadership, project managers, supply chain teams, and external vendor partners to align technical architectures with broader business goals and product roadmaps.


• Governance & Standards: Establish data governance policies, security protocols, data quality frameworks, and best practices across the organization’s data ecosystem.


• Optimization & Performance: Continuously monitor and tune database performance, optimize costs for cloud data platforms, and proactively troubleshoot data flow bottlenecks.
