Data Solution Architect – Remote

NTT DATA, Inc. currently seeks an experienced Data Solution Architect to join our team in a Remote capacity. Our client is looking to design and modernize scalable enterprise data platforms using Microsoft Fabric and Azure technologies. This role will define end-to-end data architecture while providing technical leadership to engineering teams implementing the solution.

• Define end-to-end data solution architecture, patterns, standards, and technical roadmaps across ingestion, transformation, storage, analytics, security, and integration.
• Architect solutions using Microsoft Fabric and Azure, including SparkSQL, PySpark, Delta Tables, Pipelines, Fabric Notebooks, Lakehouse, and data warehouse technologies .
• Design scalable data models, Medallion/Lakehouse patterns, integration approaches, security controls, governance, and performance strategies.
• Lead architecture reviews and translate business and non-functional requirements into detailed technical designs and implementation guidance.
• Partner with Data Engineers to guide development of Pipelines, Fabric Notebooks, PySpark/SparkSQL transformations, and Delta Tables .
• Evaluate technology choices for scalability, reliability, performance, security, maintainability, and cost while mentoring engineering teams and ensuring architectural standards are followed.
• 7+ years of Data Engineering, Data Architecture, cloud data, or related experience , including solution architecture responsibilities.
• ~7+ years of Strong hands-on experience with SparkSQL, PySpark, Delta Tables, Pipelines, Fabric Notebooks, SQL, and modern Lakehouse/data warehouse architectures .
• ~7+ years of Strong experience with Microsoft Fabric and/or Microsoft Azure data platforms and enterprise data integration.
• ~7+ years of Experience defining architecture standards, data models, security, governance, performance, and deployment patterns .
• ~ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field , or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience with OneLake, Fabric Lakehouse, Fabric Data Warehouse, Azure Data Factory, Power BI, and Azure DevOps .
• Experience with enterprise data governance, CI/CD, cloud cost optimization, and large-scale data platforms .
• Microsoft Azure or Fabric architecture/data certifications.

This is a fully remote position . Candidates must be comfortable collaborating with business, product, data, engineering, QA, and other stakeholders in a distributed environment.
