Job summary

Systems Intelligence, an Akima company, is seeking a Data Architect for the Army Software Factory in Austin to design and oversee data pipelines and architectures that enable automated processing of large, complex datasets. You will work with DoD data and security standards, advising senior leadership on critical data architecture decisions.

Required is 10 years of experience with at least 3 years in DoD, plus knowledge of data at rest and in transit, data operations, and cloud deployment models

Qualifications

• 10 years of experience with at least 3 years' DoD experience.
• Knowledge of DoD Army data administration and data standards.
• Ability to design data architectures for large data sets and pipelines.
• Experience guiding leadership on data architecture and management issues.

Responsibilities

• Provide architecture, design, engineering and management support for data pipelines.
• Enable automated processing of large, complex data sets.
• Advise leadership on critical data architecture and management issues.
• Assess and apply cloud deployment models in private, public, and hybrid environments.
