Job summary

HelloWork Oy is looking for a Data Architect to join client teams in Helsinki and other Nordic cities. In this role, you will design scalable data architectures that serve analytics, reporting, and AI applications.

The ideal candidate has over 6 years of experience, strong knowledge of data modeling, and familiarity with cloud data platforms like Snowflake and Redshift. You will be responsible for setting up data governance and ensuring compliance with GDPR.

About the role

HelloWork builds next generation Talent Operations practices and helps companies build teams. We're looking for a Data Architect to join one of our client teams in several nordic cities.You'll be designing data systems that turn messy reality into organized, useful information.

What you'll do

• Design scalable data architectures for analytics, reporting, and AI use cases
• Work with business owners to understand their data needs and translate them into technical solutions
• Choose the right tools and technologies for data storage, processing, and analysis
• Set up data governance frameworks and ensure compliance with regulations like GDPR
• Create data pipelines that move information reliably between systems

What we're looking for

• 6+ years of experience designing and implementing data architectures
• Strong knowledge of data modeling techniques and when to use them
• Experience with cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, or similar)
• Understanding of data warehousing, data lakes, and modern data lakehouse architectures
• Knowledge of complex ETL/ELT processes and data pipeline tools (Databricks, etc.)

Nice to have

• Knowledge of real-time data processing and streaming architectures
• Experience with data mesh and decentralized data architectures
• Understanding of machine learning and AI data requirements
