The Data Architect will orchestrate the design and development of a robust data environment with the goal of growing business insights to the next level, while adapting to the complex needs of a company in hyper-growth.

As the Data Architect, you will manage the newly created data department, working directly with data engineers to own pipelines and build solid end-to-end foundations for data collection, storage, consumption, and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Be at the forefront of implementing the modernization of tools in a legacy company undergoing hypergrowth in the travel luxury retail goods space.
• Establish, design, and lead the development of brand-new data warehousing infrastructure to consolidate siloed data sources and unlock new avenues for success.
• Become the primary stakeholder in data governance, data security, and data integrity strategies across multiple sales channels.
• Leverage expertise to strategize the approach on technical needs, SOPs, and best practices when it comes to the way we generate, store, and utilize data in a highly unique retail environment.
