Job summary

CitiusTech is seeking a senior Data Architect to lead the architecture, design, and modernization of enterprise-scale cloud data platforms on Azure and GCP. You will define target-state architectures, data governance, and implementation roadmaps for healthcare analytics solutions, working with stakeholders across the organization.

• 12+ years of experience in Data Architecture, Data Engineering, and Cloud Data Platforms.
• Experience with Databricks, BigQuery, ADLS, Synapse, Data Lakehouse architectures.
• Strong Data Modeling, Data Warehousing, ETL/ELT, and Data Governance experience.
• Strong architecture and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Define enterprise data architecture, cloud data platform strategy, and target-state solutions.
• Design scalable Data Lake, Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, and Analytics architectures on Azure and GCP.
• Lead data modeling, governance, metadata, lineage, security, and observability initiatives.
• Drive architecture reviews, technology selection, solution design, and implementation standards.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, engineering teams, and leadership.
• Support roadmap planning, estimation, risk management, and technical governance.

What is it in for you:

Lead the architecture, design, and modernization of enterprise-scale cloud data platforms on Azure and GCP. Define target-state architectures, data governance frameworks, data models, integration strategies, and implementation roadmaps for healthcare and analytics solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Define enterprise data architecture, cloud data platform strategy, and target-state solutions.
• Design scalable Data Lake, Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, and Analytics architectures on Azure and GCP.
• Lead data modeling, governance, metadata, lineage, security, and observability initiatives.
• Drive architecture reviews, technology selection, solution design, and implementation standards.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, engineering teams, and leadership.
• Support roadmap planning, estimation, risk management, and technical governance.

Mandatory Skills

• 12+ years of experience in Data Architecture, Data Engineering, and Cloud Data Platforms.
• Experience with Databricks, BigQuery, ADLS, Synapse, Data Lakehouse architectures.
• Strong Data Modeling, Data Warehousing, ETL/ELT, and Data Governance experience.
• Strong architecture and stakeholder management skills.

Good to Have

• Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, Unity Catalog.
• Data Observability, Data Quality, and Metadata Management tools.
• AI/ML and Generative AI exposure.

Location: - Remote ( Willing to travel to client locations as needed)
