Job summary

Bespoke Technologies, Inc. seeks a Data Architect for an on-site role in McLean, VA. An active Poly clearance is required and the candidate must be able to work independently in a fast-paced mission environment.

The successful candidate will shape data architecture, design cloud data infrastructure, and develop ETL pipelines using AWS, Hadoop ecosystems (HDFS, Spark, Presto), SQL/NoSQL, and Python, while communicating clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Qualifications

• Active Poly clearance required.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure and AWS.
• Experience with Windows, Linux, and MacOS.
• Hands-on experience with Hadoop ecosystem (HDFS, Cloudera, Spark, Presto).
• Experience in data processing and ETL pipeline development.
• Proficient in Python.
• Ability to integrate data flows with industry standard systems.
• Strong communication for technical and non-technical audiences.

BT-432 – Data Architect
Location: McLean, VA (fully on-site, no remote option)

Please do NOT apply if you do not have an active Poly clearance. Those without a Poly will not be considered.

Required Skills:

• Demonstrated experience with cloud infrastructure and data management.
• Demonstrated experience with multiple OS environments including Windows, Linux, and MacOS.
• Demonstrated experience with cloud environments, including AWS.
• Demonstrated experience with development environments including AWS, Hadoop distributed file system (HDFS), Cloudera, Spark, Presto, SQL, and NoSQL.
• Demonstrated experience conducting data processing activities.
• Experience working with Python
• Demonstrated experience building executing ETL pipelines
• Demonstrated experience with integrating data flows with industry standard systems such as Niagra Falls
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and be a proactive problem solver
• Experience providing clear and concise communications for both technical and non-technical audiences

Desired Skills:

• Knowledge of targeting workflows, tools and environments
• Experience with Large Language Models and agentic workflows.
• Experience with graphical databases such as Neo4J
• Experience working with a hard target mission area.
