Job summary

DPP Tech in the San Francisco Bay Area is seeking a Data Architect for a Direct client in Livermore. This hybrid role requires three days on-site and US citizenship.

You will lead the design and implementation of enterprise data platforms, ML pipelines, and cloud-native architectures. Ideal candidates have 10+ years building data platforms with hands-on Databricks experience and proficiency in modern data tooling.

About the Role

We are hiring a Data Architect for a Direct client in Livermore. This is a hybrid role (3 days onsite) and candidate needs to be a US Citizen.

Responsibilities

• 10+ years building enterprise Data platforms, ML pipelines, or cloud-native architectures

Strong hands-on experience with:

• Databricks (Delta Lake, Workflows, Feature Store, MLflow, Model Serving, Unity Catalog, Declarative pipeline, Clean Room)
• Ingestion and Orchestration - Prefect (or Apache Airflow/Dagster)
• Familiarity with MinIO Aistor object storage or Alluxio and secure Data transfer and Data lineage
• HashiCorp Vault secrets and AWS KMS for secret management (Experience connecting Vault to Databricks & CI/CD pipelines)
• GitLab CI/CD pipelines (Pipeline-as-code, DAG submission automation, Automated code scanning (SAST/DAST), Infrastructure-as-code (Terraform))

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Databricks and related technologies.
