Job summary

Kedrion Biopharma Inc. is seeking a Data Architect to design scalable data models and lead enterprise data initiatives. You will shape the data foundation, govern data, and enable reporting and analytics across the organization.

The role focuses on building modern data warehouse capabilities, optimizing ETL, and guiding data governance within a regulated life sciences context. Remote work is not offered.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Data Architecture, Data Warehousing, BI, or Data Mining.
• Strong MS SQL Server (SSMS/SSIS/SSAS/SSRS) expertise.
• Power BI and ETL tools experience.
• Advanced SQL development and database design.
• Experience with enterprise-scale data warehouses.
• Life sciences or regulated environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data models and architecture for a growing global data warehouse environment.
• Build and optimize ETL processes that transform complex data from multiple sources into trusted, actionable business information.
• Establish data governance standards, policies, and best practices to ensure data quality, accuracy, and integrity.
• Lead the design of flexible data solutions that support reporting, analytics, business intelligence, and enterprise decision-making.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to translate requirements into data architecture solutions.
• Partner with infrastructure teams for platform enhancements and large-scale data initiatives.
• Drive continuous improvement with modern analytics methodologies and BI strategies.
• Analyze and profile data to identify anomalies, improve quality, and strengthen reporting confidence.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries to support operations, reporting, and audits.
• Create technical and functional specifications for data solutions.
• Work with QA and stakeholders to support validation, compliance, and governance.
• Shape the future direction of enterprise data architecture across the organization.

What you'll do

• Help define the future direction of enterprise data architecture while enabling teams across the organization to make better, faster, data-driven decisions.

Qualifications and need-to-know

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Data Architecture, Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence, or Data Mining.
• Strong expertise with Microsoft SQL Server technologies, including SSMS, SSIS, SSAS, and SSRS.
• Experience with Power BI and ETL tools, methodologies, and best practices.
• Advanced SQL development and database design skills.
• Experience designing and supporting enterprise-scale data warehouses and analytics solutions.
• Experience with Oracle OLTP and OLAP environments preferred.
• Experience working in a life sciences or other regulated environment preferred.
