Job summary

Atos is seeking a senior data engineer/architect to design, build and operate end-to-end data platforms for enterprise clients. You will work across data engineering, analytics, and data architecture, collaborating with offshore teams and across time zones to deliver scalable data solutions.

You will mentor developers, review ETL code, and contribute to client-facing specifications and technical guides, ensuring data quality and governance across complex environments.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in data engineering, analytics engineering, or data architecture.
• 4+ years in an architect or senior BAU production-support capacity.
• Source-to-target mappings and logical/physical data models for warehouse or integration platforms.
• Hands-on with Google BigQuery and GCP data services (Cloud Storage, IAM, multi-project patterns).
• Expert-level SQL for analytics and ETL (CTEs, windows, deduplication, SCD2).
• Ability to review ETL code/SQL and mentor developers on implementation quality.
• Debug end-to-end data pipelines: source lake integration dims/facts reporting.
• Experience with enterprise dimensional modeling (star/snowflake schemas).
• Excellent written communication; client-facing specs and developer-facing guides.

• 8+ years in data engineering, analytics engineering, or data architecture, with 4+ years in an architect or senior Business-As-Us-ual (BAU) production-support capacity.
• Demonstrated experience creating source-to-target mappings and logical/physical data models for enterprise warehouse or integration platforms.
• Deep hands-on experience with Google BigQuery and GCP data services (Cloud Storage, IAM, multi-project patterns).
• Strong experience with Apache Airflow or Cloud Composer for batch ETL orchestration.
• Expert-level SQL for complex analytics and ETL (CTEs, window functions, incremental logic, deduplication, SCD2).
• Proven ability to review and critique ETL code/SQL and mentor developers on implementation quality.
• Proven ability to debug end-to-end data pipelines: source lake integration dims/facts reporting.
• Experience with enterprise dimensional modeling (star/snowflake schemas, conformed dimensions, fact grain, bridge tables).
• Excellent written communication; able to produce client-facing specifications and developer-facing implementation guides from the same design.
• Comfortable working across time zones with offshore development teams and structured ticketing (Jira or equivalent).
