Job summary

The New Jersey Judiciary is seeking a Judiciary Research Manager in the Data Analytics, Research and Statistics Division. You will supervise two teams and perform senior-level research including study design and implementation.

You will design methodologies, perform complex statistical analyses using Stata or SPSS, PowerBI or Tableau, and manage data in Python and SQL. You will prepare and disseminate findings to diverse audiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with five years in administrative and/or program management.
• Experience conducting social science research including multivariate data analysis and advanced data analytics is required.
• Master’s degree preferred; substitution rules apply for experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee design and implementation of criminal, civil, and family research.
• Conduct high-level statistical analyses and present findings clearly.
• Convert complex data into charts, graphs, and reports for varied audiences.
• Lead and supervise Quantitative Research teams including managers and analysts.
• Translate requests into research questions and manage data extraction from systems.
• Prepare monthly and annual statistical reports using Excel, SPSS, SQL, SAS or similar tools.
• Develop methods for displaying data and implement visualizations.
