Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Data Analysis Manager to drive AI-readiness initiatives for the Discover Personal Loans business, centralizing data and enabling advanced analytics. You will lead governance automation, champion data quality, and mentor a team of junior analysts in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with a strong BI focus.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in data analysis and programming, plus experience with Python, R, Spark or SQL, and at least 1 year in people/project management;

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in quantitative field plus at least 6 years of experience performing data analytics
• Master’s Degree plus at least 4 years of experience performing data analytics (degree on or before start date)
• At least 4 years of experience performing professional data analysis work
• At least 4 years of experience performing programming

Responsibilities

• Mining data to deliver crucial information for the organization
• Identify and implement process, data, and reporting improvements
• Work with large, complex databases containing millions to billions of records
• Improve operational efficiencies and effectiveness
• Conduct analysis to evaluate processes and tests
• Extract and analyze data to gauge product offerings
• Consult on design and implementation of new production and data storage systems
• Develop and implement strategic tests of products, initiatives and marketing materials
