Job summary

Alta Resource Technologies in Boulder, CO is seeking a Data Analyst to handle diverse scientific datasets and build pipelines for real-time data storage, cataloging, and downstream analysis. You will enable real-time monitoring of lab systems and accelerate product development through data integrity and dashboards.

The role reports to the VP Data and Information Systems and requires strong statistics background, Python proficiency, and experience with dashboard tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Statistics, Biostatistics, or related fields with 5-8 years experience, or a PhD with 3-5 years.
• Strong grounding in frequentist statistics (DOE, ANOVA, regression); Bayesian methods a plus.
• Experience with Design of Experiment (DOE) approaches.
• Proficiency with Python and data visualization tools.

Responsibilities

• Experimental design and planning with statistical rigor and power analysis.
• Robust statistical analysis using ANOVA, regression, GLM; Bayesian methods where appropriate.
• Develop analytical pipelines for rigorous, reproducible results.
• Create real-time dashboards for monitoring processes and results.
• Integrate data management with LIMS, JIRA, and other systems.
• Collaborate across process engineering, chemistry, biology, and biotech teams.
