Job summary

Genfuse Tech is seeking an experienced Senior Data & Analytics Engineer to build scalable data pipelines and analytics platforms. You will drive data modeling, orchestration, and CI/CD while collaborating with analytics and engineering teams to deliver reliable data products.

Ideal candidates have deep expertise in Snowflake, dbt, Prefect, BigQuery, and DOMO, with strong SQL and Python skills, and a track record of data platform optimization.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Data Engineering / Analytics Engineering.
• Hands-on with Snowflake data warehousing, access controls, and performance tuning.
• Strong proficiency in dbt including models, tests, macros, exposures, and CI/CD integration.
• Hands-on experience building data pipelines using Prefect, including flows, tasks, deployments, and agents.
• Experience with BigQuery including partitioning, clustering, and cost optimization.
• Strong DOMO experience for dashboards and BI delivery.
• Advanced SQL skills with data analysis and transformation.
• Experience with Git-based workflows and CI/CD for data engineering.
• Knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) and Listrak is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and transformation layers using dbt, Snowflake, and BigQuery.
• Develop and manage reliable Prefect orchestration workflows for data processing and delivery.
• Build and maintain DOMO dashboards, reports, and data products in collaboration with business stakeholders.
• Establish best practices for data modeling, testing, documentation, and data quality.
• Optimize Snowflake and BigQuery performance, queries, and compute costs.
• Develop and maintain trusted source-of-truth datasets, semantic layers, and data contracts.
• Implement automated testing and CI/CD processes for data engineering workflows.
• Collaborate with Analytics, Data Engineering, and Business teams to deliver actionable data solutions.
• Troubleshoot data pipeline and transformation issues and ensure reliable data delivery.
• Mentor junior data engineers and contribute to overall data engineering excellence.
