Job summary

F.N.B. Corporation's Technology division seeks a Data and Analytics Engineer 2 to provide comprehensive data and analytics support across the enterprise, working on multiple projects with BI and Data Analysts to deliver data-centric solutions. This on-site role is based at our Financial Center in Pittsburgh, PA.

You will collect, analyze and share data to improve key metrics and customer experience, build dashboards, and ensure data quality while adhering to risk management standards.

Qualifications

• BA or BS required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in BI/DW and analytics.
• Proven ability to analyze data and deliver insights.
• Experience with Power BI, SSRS or Cognos Analytics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with analysts to understand customer needs and deliver data-driven insights.
• Develop and test databases, queries, views, reports, and dashboards.
• Assist in data conversions, imports and exports between systems.

Preferred Requirements:

• Proficient in banking and financial analytical data modeling (conceptual, logical, & physical) with hands on demonstrative experience designing and building with entity relational modeling technologies or equivalent.
• Story Proficiency in programming using Microsoft development integration services tech stack, Python, Tibco, .NET/Java, data visualization and business intelligent tools Power BI, SSRS, or Cognos Analytics
• In-depth experience with secure coding, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery/Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and automated testing frameworks utilizing Azure DevOps (ADO) and Python
• Masters degree in Computer Science and/or engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, Economics or related fields

Position Overview:

This position is primarily responsible for providing comprehensive data and analytics support for all business units across the corporation and works on low to medium complex and cross-functional data centric solutions, works on multiple projects as a team member, works with BI and Data Analysts to understand customer need.The incumbent collects, analyzes and shares data to help business teams drive improvement in key business metrics, customer experience and business results and has a moderate impact on operations, resources and the corporation's reputation.

Primary Responsibilities:

Works with Business Information and Data Analysts to understand customer needs. Collects, analyzes and shares data to help business teams drive improvement in key business metrics, customer experience and business results. Utilizes database and web application technologies to develop and evaluate innovative business intelligence tools and automated reports.

Develops and tests analytical solutions such as databases, queries, views, reports and dashboards.Assists in data conversions, imports and exports of data within and between internal and external software systems. Documents new and existing models, solutions and implementations.

Designs and builds reporting and analysis tools that help streamline the business and makes reporting, analyzing, planning and forecasting more efficient. Supports and assists with the integration of analytical platforms with enterprise systems and applications. Troubleshoots analytics tools, systems, and software. Tracks performance and production issues.

May assist in performance tuning of analytics applications.Escalates production issues as appropriate.Ensures the collected data is within required quality standards. May maintain the quality of Metadata Repository by adding, modifying and deleting data.

Adheres to process, policies and standards. Keeps customers informed about business intelligence tool problems and resolutions.Tracks and reports on issues and enhancement requests for the business in a timely manner.

Performs regular assignments using own judgment and following the corporation's data policy, while keeping supervisor informed as necessary.Receives general guidance on new projects as to methods, procedures and desired end results.Uses discretion to make decisions within the scope of their responsibilities. Complex assignments are usually reviewed upon completion.

Performs other related duties and projects as assigned.
