Job summary

Sabre Systems, LLC seeks a Data Analytics Engineer for the NAVAIR Digital Department, Command Data Officer Team to collaborate with diverse stakeholders, identify data sources, and build analytical products and pipelines for discovery and decision support.

The role involves working with data engineers, data analysts, and data scientists to prepare data, document data lineage, and enable mission-critical analytics across programs; DoD clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an information technology related field is required, Master's degree is preferred.
• Three (3) years of related experience is required
• Thorough working knowledge of at least two analytical programming languages (R, Python, Scala, SQL)
• Working knowledge of code repositories & version control (Git)
• Basic working knowledge at least one BI/visualization tool (Qlik, Tableau, Power BI)
• A Security + certification is required within 90 days of higher
• An active DoD Secret Clearance or higher is required
• Selected candidate must pass a background investigation

Responsibilities

The NAVAIR Digital Department, Command Data Officer Team is seeking a Data Analytics Engineer to work with our diverse operational and customer stakeholders to identify, help acquire, process, and when necessary, visualize and analyze our diverse data sources. The successful candidate will work across diverse technical and operational customers on a number of mission-critical, high-visibility projects to contribute foundational data assets for our analytics team.

• Knowledge of advanced analytics principals (statistical modeling, machine learning, AI)
• Experience building/maintaining/automating dashboards for users
• Military background a plus

Compensation Statement

At Sabre Systems, LLC, compensation is based on factors such as location, qualifications, experience, and contract-specific requirements; however, final compensation will be determined by individual qualifications and applicable contract terms. The general salary range for this position is as follows: $80,000.00 - $125,000.00
