Job summary

Zions Bancorporation is recruiting an in-office Data Analytics Staff Auditor to join the Internal Audit team. The role focuses on developing data analytics routines, building dashboards, and supporting ongoing audit monitoring across multiple offices in Salt Lake City, Denver and Las Vegas.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s in business, mathematics, CS or MIS and 0-2+ years in data analysis within audit or risk contexts, plus strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s in business, mathematics, CS or MIS.
• 0-2+ years of data analysis experience in audit, finance, risk or technology.
• Strong quantitative, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Professional certification (CISA, CPA, CIA or equivalent) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify, design and develop data analytics routines to support audit activities.
• Create repeatable data analytics to support continuous audit monitoring.
• Perform audit tests of controls and evaluate results.
• Gather facts, propose solutions and implement action plans.
• Follow up on approved recommendations and assist external auditors.
