Job summary

National Computer Systems is seeking a Senior Data Analyst for a remote, long-term engagement. Gather requirements for ETL and data warehousing, with emphasis on US healthcare data such as medical claims and eligibility. Strong SQL, data modeling, and experience with Databricks and Snowflake are required.

You will create source-to-target mappings, drive SDLC activities including QA and UAT, and help shape data governance and transformation rules for multiple stakeholders.

• Gathering business requirements for ETL data processing ETL for data warehousing applications
• Strong US healthcare knowledge including analysis of areas like medical claims and eligibility
• Have strong communication skills, be able to work independently and drive results
• Strong SQL knowledge, data modeling, Databricks and Snowflake environment usage
• Query data sources to perform gap/impact analyses between source and target systems
• Define and maintain rules for data profiling and data transformation logic
• Create source to target mappings and functional specifications for development team by gathering requirements from business stakeholders
• Participate in different phases on the SDLC and including QA and UAT
• Drive business process reengineering efforts, meeting facilitation and issue resolution
• Experience level: 7+ years of data analysis, data warehouse and US healthcare knowledge
