Job summary

Dynamic Logistix in Overland Park, KS is seeking a Data Analyst Specialist to collect, process, and perform statistical analyses on data sets to support operational decisions.

You will develop reports, dashboards in Power BI, and ad hoc queries while collaborating with a team to monitor KPI metrics and optimize data-driven processes. A minimum 2 years in analytics and strong Excel skills are required. Experience in logistics preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of 2 years of relevant analytics experience.
• Strong Excel and data visualization skills.
• Ability to collect, interpret, and present data to non-technical stakeholders.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Applies statistical methods to dissect data and produce insightful business reports
• Develops related reports, graphs, charts, presentations, and other documents to support data-driven analysis
• Creates Power BI dashboards to effectively measure and monitor critical KPI metrics
• Collects and analyzes data to support modeling, network optimization, and potential supply chain enhancements
• Generates ad hoc queries and reports as required to facilitate smooth operations
• Other duties as assigned
  
  

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Proficient in working within a dynamic and collaborative team environment
• Demonstrates advanced critical thinking and analytical problem-solving skills
• Possesses advanced Excel proficiency
• Maintains up-to-date knowledge of statistical analysis techniques
  
  

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience in data analytics, logistics, or a related field preferred
  
  

Physical Requirements:

• Physical dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, telephone, and office equipment; ability to access file cabinets and items stored at various levels, including overhead
• Ability to communicate clearly and understandably in person, over the telephone, and in group settings
• Ability to continuously operate a personal computer for extended periods of time (4 or more hours)
• Mental acuity sufficient to collect and interpret data, evaluate, reason, define problems, draw valid conclusions, and make sound decisions
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Able to lift up to 15lbs at times
