Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a Data Analyst/Power Platform professional to support data collection, analysis, and automation efforts in an onsite setting in Huntsville, Alabama. The role involves turning reporting and operational needs into dashboards, Power Apps solutions, and streamlined workflows using Microsoft tools.

An Active Secret clearance is required. The candidate will collect, clean, and analyze data, develop Power BI dashboards, build Power Apps to enhance workflows, automate processes

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or four years of additional professional experience in lieu of a degree.
• At least one year of experience as a data analyst, business analyst, or similar role supporting reporting and analytics.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and relational data sources (SQL, SharePoint, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, validate, and analyze data from multiple sources to support reporting, operations, and business needs.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using Power BI and Power Platform.
• Build and support Power Apps solutions to streamline workflows and data capture.
• Automate recurring processes and data-driven workflows using Power Automate and low-code tools.
• Partner with stakeholders to define metrics and translate business needs into analytical solutions.
• Monitor data quality and provide insights to support decision-making and operational improvements.
• Document data processes, report logic, and application functionality for maintainability.

Guidehouse is seeking a Data Analyst/Power Platform professional to support data collection, analysis, and automation efforts in an onsite setting in Huntsville, Alabama. The role works across stakeholders to turn reporting and operational needs into dashboards, Power Apps solutions, and streamlined workflows using Microsoft tools. An Active Secret clearance is required.

Role Focus

• Collect, clean, validate, and analyze data from multiple sources to support business, operational, and reporting needs.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using Power BI and related Microsoft Power Platform tools.
• Build and support Power Apps solutions to streamline workflows, improve data capture, and enhance user experience.
• Automate recurring processes and data-driven workflows using Power Automate and other low-code tools.
• Partner with stakeholders to understand requirements, define metrics, and translate business needs into analytical solutions.
• Monitor data quality, identify trends, and provide insights that support decision-making and operational improvement.
• Document data processes, report logic, and application functionality to ensure maintainability and knowledge transfer.
• Collaborate across teams in a fast-paced environment to deliver accurate, timely, and actionable analytics solutions.

Required Qualifications

• An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED “SECRET” Federal or DoD security clearance.
• Bachelor’s Degree; or FOUR (4) years of additional professional experience in lieu of a Bachelor’s.
• Minimum ONE (1) year of experience working as a data analyst, business analyst, or in a similar role supporting reporting and analytics.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including experience working with data in Excel, SharePoint, SQL, or other relational data sources.

Additional “Nice to Have”

• Experience supporting defense, security, or government-related environments.
• Knowledge of data modeling, DAX, Power Query, or SQL querying.
• Experience integrating data from multiple systems into dashboards or applications.
• Familiarity with Agile or Scrum development practices.
• Experience with SharePoint, Dataverse, or other Microsoft ecosystem tools.
• Power Platform or Microsoft certifications.
• Experience with process improvement, workflow automation, or digital transformation initiatives.
• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Power Platform tools, including Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify patterns, and communicate findings clearly.
• Ability to gather requirements, collaborate with stakeholders, and deliver user‑focused solutions.
