Job summary
Oxley Enterprises, Inc. seeks a Data Analyst to support the MCAS New River Innovation & Readiness Department in Jacksonville, NC. You will develop models, build dashboards, and deliver data-driven tools to improve readiness and efficiency.
The role requires 4+ years in data science or operations research, a Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field, and strong programming (Python, VBA) skills. Collaboration with stakeholders and federal experience preferred will be valued.
Qualifications
- 4 years of data science, operations research, and custom application development experience
- Bachelor's degree in quantitative science, computer science, information technology, mathematics or a related field
- Above average experience developing and applying mathematical and statistical models and operations research techniques
- Above average experience conducting predictive analysis to evaluate alternative courses of action
- Above average experience supporting qualitative and quantitative analysis
- Above average experience programming in scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript, VBA, R)
- Above average experience designing, developing, and maintaining custom applications and automation tools
- Above average experience building data‑driven dashboards and digital products with the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power BI)
- Above average proficiency gathering, assembling, cleansing, validating, and analyzing data to produce valid findings
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
- Experience creating reports, presentations, user manuals, and training guides
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent ability to work effectively in a team and with stakeholders
- Experience supporting a federal agency (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Designs, develops, and adapts mathematical and statistical models and techniques to support readiness analysis
- Conducts predictive analysis to evaluate and compare alternative courses of action
- Designs, develops, and maintains custom applications and automation tools to meet emerging needs
- Builds data‑driven dashboards and digital products using Power Apps, Power BI, and Python
- Gathers, assembles, cleanses, validates, and analyzes data to produce valid and reliable findings
- Applies qualitative and quantitative analysis to develop, modify, and apply models
- Analyzes readiness programs and initiatives to identify trends and predictions
- Researches advanced statistics to devise innovative solutions and alternatives
- Identifies opportunities for capturing readiness data
- Supports biweekly updates to the Commanding Officer's briefing
- Creates documentation, user manuals, and training guides for custom applications
- Maintains clear and concise documentation

The Data Analyst develops mathematical and statistical models, custom applications, and data-driven products that deliver innovation and efficiency.
4 years of data science, operations research, and custom application development experience

The annual projected pay range for this position is $87,198 - $118,523 with consideration being given to various factors including but not limited to qualifications, experience, job responsibilities, and geographic location.
