Job summary

Visual Soft, Inc is seeking qualified Data Analyst - Mid Level for an onsite federal project in Huntsville, AL. Active Top Secret clearance is required. Compensation is negotiable with standard benefits and options including 1099 on a case-by-case basis.

The candidate will analyze data, develop dashboards using BI tools, and support data pipelines and warehousing efforts on a fully onsite role with standard benefits described below.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience.
• Proficient in SQL for advanced data querying.
• Experience with BI & dashboard tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Experience with Python or R for statistical scripting.
• Knowledge of data pipelines and warehousing (ETL/ELT).

Responsibilities

Job Title: Data Analyst - Mid Level - ONSITE - an Active Top SECRET required

Compensation: Negotiable with standard benefits based on experience, education, degree and certifications and can also work with candidates who prefer 1099 on a case by case basis

Job Description:

• Responsible for carrying out engineering tasks to deliver an advanced visual analytic application to include the following:
  • developing data analytics for desktop and web-developed visual analytic software;
  • facilitating the bulk analysis of relational information utilizing advanced graphics, visualization, and high-performance computing, as well as using the specified open source, COTS, and GOTS technologies;
  • and establishing an application that produces manageable, actionable intelligence from streams of a structured and semi-structured data.

• Integrate new systems with existing warehouse structure and refine system performance and functionality.

Standard benefits:

Our standard benefits include: Our standard benefits include 3 weeks of Paid time off (PTO that includes sick leave). Any unused PTO will be issued as a check at the end of an employee's anniversary with us. we also provide 2 floating and 8 public holidays. Floating and holidays expire at the end of every year of service of an employee.
