Job summary

Midwest Technical Institute (MTI), Delta Technical College (DTC), and MTI Online are seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join our Information Technology team. This hands-on role turns data into insights, partnering with leaders to drive action through dashboards, KPIs, and scalable analytics.

You’ll build Power BI dashboards, optimize SQL queries, and develop Python-based data automation within a hybrid Illinois-based environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in data analytics or IT.
• 4+ years of experience in Data Analytics, BI, or Reporting Analytics.
• Strong MS SQL Server skills.
• Proficiency with Python for data analysis and automation.
• Hands-on experience developing dashboards and reports in Power BI.
• Experience developing ETL/data pipelines.
• Experience with MongoDB, Microsoft Fabric, or other modern data platforms.
• Ability to work with executive-level stakeholders and translate needs into reporting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain organizational KPIs, business reporting, and executive dashboards.
• Build interactive Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions.
• Write, optimize, and troubleshoot MS SQL Server queries, stored procedures, and views.

• Partner directly with executives and business leaders to translate reporting needs into actionable solutions.
• Support emerging AI-driven analytics initiatives.

Midwest Technical Institute (MTI), Delta Technical College (DTC), and MTI Online are seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join our Information Technology team. This is a hands-on, high-impact role for someone who enjoys digging into data, building meaningful reporting solutions, and partnering with business leaders to turn information into action.

You’ll work closely with our Product Owner and executive stakeholders to develop KPIs, dashboards, exception reporting, and scalable data solutions that help leaders identify trends, spot issues early, and make informed decisions.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field—or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or Reporting Analytics.
• Strong MS SQL Server skills.
• Proficiency with Python for data analysis and automation.
• Hands-on experience developing dashboards and reports in Power BI.
• Experience developing ETL/data pipelines.
• Experience with MongoDB, Microsoft Fabric, or other modern data platforms.
• Ability to confidently work with executive-level stakeholders and translate business needs into effective reporting.

Experience working in a multi-location organization, regulated data environment, or with Microsoft Fabric’s Lakehouse, Data Factory, or Direct Lake capabilities is a plus.
