Job summary

Centene is seeking a Data Analyst III to lead analytic data needs for the business unit and to drive the migration from Teradata to Snowflake. You will manage complex data projects, develop management deliverables, and mentor junior analysts as you optimize data workflows across multiple systems.

The role requires 4+ years of statistical analysis or 2+ years IT experience in data warehousing or ETL, with healthcare experience preferred.

• Healthcare experience preferred.
• Experience managing projects or heavy involvement in project implementation.
• Encounters experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced analytical support for business operations in claims, provider data, member data, clinical data, HEDIS, pharmacy, external reporting.
• Extract, load, model, and reconcile large amounts of data across multiple system platforms and sources.
• Review data to determine operational impacts and needed actions; elevate issues, trends, areas for improvement and opportunities to management
• Develop reports and deliverables for management
• Model data using MS Excel, Access, SQL, and/or other data ware house analytical tools
• Ensure compliance with federal and state deliverable reporting requirements by performing data quality audits and analysis
• Assist with training and mentoring other Data Analysts
• Performs other duties as assigned

Position Purpose:

Responsible for analytic data needs of the business unit. Handle complex data projects and acts as a lead for other Data Analysts. The Data Analyst III will focus on the migration of Teradata into Snowflake.

Pay Range: $70,100.00 - $126,200.00 per year
