Job summary

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required in STEM or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in data analytics / visualization.
  • Proficiency in data visualization techniques.
  • Familiarity with basic statistical methods.
  • Advanced analytics tools, databases and SQL are required.
  • Experience with IBM Cognos and data visualization tools (Tableau, Qlik Sense, Looker).
  • Experience with cloud data warehouses (BigQuery, Snowflake).

Overview

Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the Manager of Customer Experience to understand customers’ analytical problems.
  • Network with internal and external stakeholders and product experts; conduct technical meetings to ensure complete coverage of the problem and data gathering.
  • Apply cloud data warehouse technologies to analyze large datasets.
  • Perform accurate and thorough data scrubbing and loading processes; ensure data integrity and develop required ELT scripts, queries, and reports.
  • Develop complex SQL queries and conduct data analysis on new and existing data sources, providing recommendations to improve data quality and related efficiencies.
  • Analyze insights and implications, and communicate findings internally and externally using visually compelling visualizations in IBM Cognos, Tableau, Qlik Sense, and Looker, with clear explanations for business users.
  • Develop, run, and evaluate data science and predictive analytics models to detect and analyze patterns and trends in very large datasets.
  • Design, code, implement, and continuously improve data pipelines and predictive and prescriptive analytical models to help customers maximize ROI on the Reflexis application suite.
  • Perform testing and verification of analytics to ensure consistent and accurate results.
  • Train customers to use the analytics reporting tools and application.
Qualifications
  • Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field with emphasis on analytics, data science, or business analytics.
  • At least 2 years of experience and proficiency in data visualization techniques.
  • Familiarity with basic statistical methods.
  • Advanced skill in analytics tools, database technologies, and SQL is required.
  • Prior experience with business intelligence (IBM Cognos) and data visualization software (Tableau, Qlik Sense, Looker, etc.).
  • Ability to develop advanced analytic data models.
  • Ability to contribute to the design and development of data pipelines and data warehouses to support large-scale data analysis.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy of data is required.
  • Experience using cloud data warehouses (BigQuery, Snowflake, etc.).
  • MS in Data Science, Business Analytics, or MBA with concentration in Analytics acceptable in lieu of 2 years of experience.
