We are working with a small, systematic trading firm that spans all major global macro asset classes, such as equities, FX, rates and commodities.

They are looking for a data analyst to join their small, technical team.

As a data analyst you will report directly to the CIO and will be responsible for collecting, organising, and maintaining the data inputs that support the systematic investment process. This includes both fundamental macroeconomic data and market data time series. You will be responsible for cleaning and curating historical time series, as well as conducting ongoing diagnostics and quality control for incoming data.

Key Requirements:

• Familiarity with macroeconomic statistical data and it's sources


• Familiarity with complex market data, especially long time series


• Experience with data curation, diagnostics and quality control


• experience sourcing new data and working with vendors


• Strong programming skills and experience implementing data tools in code, utilising Python as primary language

Desireable Requirements:

• Experience in database design and management


• Expertise in metadata design and curation
