Blue Shield of California seeks a Senior Data Analyst to support provider networks by analyzing utilization, financial, regulatory and market trends, and translating complex data into actionable insights for contract strategy and network planning.
The role partners with Actuary, Network Compliance, Contracting Network Managers, and other stakeholders, delivering reports and dashboards to empower leadership and improve financial health in a hybrid in-office setting.
The Consultative Support and Project Management team provides analytical support for provider contract negotiations and oversees competitive intelligence data for the organization. The Data Analyst, Senior will report to the Manager of Data Analysis. In this role, you will partner cross-functionally with Actuary, Network Compliance, Contracting Network Managers, and other Provider Network stakeholders to evaluate the health, performance, and strategic positioning of contracted entities. You will analyze utilization, financial, regulatory, and market trends; investigate anomalies; and translate complex data into clear, actionable insights that support network planning, contract strategy, and business decision-making. You will also support the development, validation, and distribution of reports and dashboards that are critical to Provider Network leadership and the financial health of the organization.
