Job summary

Atlantic Group is seeking a Data Analyst to support financial analysis, forecasting, and data management across finance and business operations. This role offers broad exposure to FP&A, reporting, and strategic initiatives in a growing financial services environment.

The candidate will build Excel models, perform budgeting tasks, and develop dashboards for leadership. Excellent communication and strong analytical skills are essential for success in this early-career position.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Data Analytics, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, accounting, audit, advisory, valuation, or data analytics.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and conditional formulas.
  • Strong ability to interpret financial information, identify trends, reconcile data, and translate analysis into insights.
  • Knowledge of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, modeling, and management reporting.
  • Proficiency with reporting tools, data visualization, automation, and emerging technologies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; detail-oriented and highly organized.

  • Prepare recurring and ad hoc financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior management.

  • Maintain financial databases and reporting systems ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Partner with teams to analyze financial performance and provide strategic insights.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline reporting and automate manual processes.
  • Develop dashboards, KPIs, and other analytical reporting for leadership.
  • Support senior team members on high-visibility analytical projects.

  • Systems & Automation: Identify opportunities to streamline reporting, automate manual processes, and improve the efficiency and scalability of existing workflows.
  • Management Reporting: Develop dashboards, KPIs, and other analytical reporting used by senior leadership to monitor business performance.
  • Special Projects: Support senior team members on high-visibility analytical projects, systems implementations, and other strategic initiatives.
Qualifications for the Data Analyst:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, accounting, audit, advisory, valuation, data analytics, or another analytical role.
  • Excel: Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, conditional formulas, and experience analyzing large datasets.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to interpret financial information, identify trends, reconcile data, and translate analysis into meaningful business insights.
  • Financial Knowledge: Understanding of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and management reporting.
  • Technology: Strong systems aptitude with an interest in reporting tools, data visualization, automation, and emerging technologies.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly present financial and analytical information.
  • Attributes: Detail-oriented, intellectually curious, proactive, and highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
