Job summary

1Password LLC is hiring for a Finance Analytics role focused on building trusted financial data foundations and turning complex business data into clear insights for Finance, Sales, Marketing, and RevOps. You will work with ARR, retention, billing, and subscriptions, and contribute to AI-enabled reporting workflows that improve decision-making across the business.

The role reports to the Senior Manager, Financial Data Analytics and is remote within the United States and Canada.

Qualifications

• Experience in analytics or a related data role with SQL proficiency.
• Understanding of data modeling concepts (fact/dimension tables, star schemas).
• Ability to translate stakeholder questions into analy­sis and dashboards.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Build and iterate on interactive dashboards in Hex for finance and business performance.
• Translate business questions into self-serve reporting across ARR, retention, subscriptions, and related metrics.
• Contribute to trusted data models supporting pricing and product lines.
• Support month-end/quarter-end financial reporting by investigating variances.
• Automate recurring tasks using AI-enabled workflows and partner with Analytics Engineering to productionize sources.
• Present work to stakeholders and collaborate with Finance, Sales, Marketing, RevOps, and Data teams.

As part of 1Password's Finance Analytics team, you'll help build trusted financial data foundations and turn complex business data into clear insights for Finance, Sales, Marketing, and Revenue Operations (RevOps). You'll work across annual recurring revenue (ARR), retention, billing, and subscription metrics while helping create Artificial Intelligence (AI)-enabled reporting workflows that make decision-making faster and more reliable. Your work will support 1Password's mission to enable a safe, productive digital future without compromising security. Reporting into the Senior Manager, Financial Data Analytics, this role is remote within the United States and Canada.

How we're using AI today

On the Finance team, we're using AI to drive productivity, scale insight, and deliver better decision-making across 1Password. AI helps us move faster and sharpen our thinking, from summarizing context and pressure-testing assumptions to turning complex inputs into clear executive-level narratives. We bring AI into our work thoughtfully, improving repeatable workflows while staying accountable for the accuracy, confidentiality, and controls behind every output, creating space to focus on judgement, strategic partnership, and meaningful business outcomes.

This is a remote opportunity within Canada and the US.

What we're looking for:

• Experience in analytics or a related data role, with proficiency in SQL, including joins, common table expressions (CTEs), window functions, and analysis of large datasets.
• Understanding of data modeling practices, including fact and dimension tables, star schemas, and related approaches to organizing reliable data.
• Ability to translate stakeholder questions into clear analytical deliverables, gather requirements, and improve dashboards based on feedback.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills, sound judgment, and careful attention to detail.
• Experience working with Finance, Sales, or Go To Market (GTM) data is a plus, especially in a Software as a Service (SaaS) environment, with familiarity with metrics such as annual recurring revenue (ARR), retention, subscriptions, or customer cohorts.
• Experience with BI or AI tools such as Hex, Claude Code, Cursor, or similar platforms is a plus; exposure to dbt and enterprise data sources such as Salesforce, Stripe, or NetSuite is also valuable.

What you can expect:

• Build and iterate on interactive dashboards in Hex that help stakeholders explore financial and business performance.
• Translate business questions into self-serve reporting and actionable analysis across ARR, paying customer accounts, retention, subscriptions, and related metrics.
• Contribute to trusted data models that support new pricing approaches, product lines, and evolving business models.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and financial reporting cycles by investigating variances, identifying drivers, and explaining why results changed.
• Automate recurring manual and spreadsheet-based tasks using AI skills and workflows, helping teams spend more time on analysis and decision-making.
• Partner with Analytics Engineering to productionize reporting sources, improve data quality, and maintain clear metric definitions.
• Present your work to stakeholders, incorporate feedback, and collaborate with Finance, Sales, Marketing, RevOps, and Data and Analytics teams.

USA-based roles only: The annual base salary for this role is between $95,000 USD and $133,000 USD, plus immediate participation in 1Password's benefits program (health, dental, 401k and many others), utilization of our generous paid time off, an equity grant and, where applicable, participation in our incentive programs.

Canada-based roles only: The annual base salary for this role is between $83,000 CAD and $116,000 CAD, plus immediate participation in 1Password's generous benefits program (health, dental, RRSP and many others), utilization of our generous paid time off, an equity grant and, where applicable, participation in our incentive programs.
