This individual will be responsible for identifying, registering, and onboarding discrete datasets into the ZT environment, developing data onboarding workflows, and building reporting capabilities to track adoption of ZT services. The role requires close collaboration with data stewards, governance teams, and ZT Core Services personnel in a dynamic, mission-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the identification of discrete datasets for registration into the ZT Ecosystem, prioritizing resources in accordance with government-directed priority order
  • Assist Data Stewards in preparing and submitting dataset registrations; ensure data is accurately characterized using the 5 Ws framework (Who, What, When, Where, Why)
  • Develop and document a comprehensive Data Onboarding Process covering all required steps from dataset identification through ingestion into the ZT Ecosystem (e.g., Visio-type diagram and accompanying SOP)
  • Gather and incorporate stakeholder feedback from data governance teams and ZT Core Services during onboarding process development
  • Develop reporting requirements in coordination with stakeholders to support visibility into ZT service adoption across the client organization and external audiences
  • Build and maintain a reporting capability specifically covering data onboarding and ingestion metrics
  • Maintain all task documentation and artifacts in GitLab in accordance with the ZT Program's GitLab standards
  • Support monthly status briefs and quarterly Program Management Reviews (PMRs) as required
  • Perform ETL operations including data extraction, transformation, cleaning, and loading to support onboarding activities
  • Develop visualizations and dashboards to communicate data trends and onboarding progress to senior stakeholders and decision makers
Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in data analysis, data science, or a related field
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Python for data manipulation, automation, and ETL processes
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Splunk, Oracle DV, or Qlik
  • Strong background in ETL pipeline development and data mining
  • Familiarity with Agile project management environments (JIRA, Confluence, or similar)
  • Experience working with and briefing senior-level stakeholders and decision makers
  • Strong analytical and written communication skills; ability to translate complex data processes into clear, consumable documentation
  • Experience developing SOPs, process flows, or similar documentation artifacts
  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting federal government or intelligence community programs
  • Familiarity with Zero Trust architecture concepts, particularly as they relate to data governance and access control
  • Experience with AWS services (SageMaker, Comprehend, S3) or cloud-based data environments
  • Knowledge of data governance frameworks and metadata management practices
  • Experience with Natural Language Processing (NLP) for automated data tagging or classification
  • Familiarity with GitLab for documentation and version control
  • Experience using ServiceNow or Databricks in a data management context
  • Machine learning background with classification/regression experience
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred (Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Analytics, or related discipline) (4 years of experience and be used in lieu of a BS degree)
  • Master's degree preferred; equivalent professional experience may be considered in place of an advanced degree (6 years of experience can be used in lieu of a MS degree)
Core Competencies
  • Ability to operate with limited supervision in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills with experience facilitating cross-team collaboration
