GOH seeks an energetic Grants Management Data Analyst to support our Office of Head Start client. The role will lead data collection, analysis, and reporting, integrating data from multiple sources into a streamlined workflow.

You will build, maintain, and test databases, develop dashboards, and provide high‑quality analyses to inform decisions and process improvements. Onsite at the OHS Northeast Regional Office is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s or related certs preferred
• At least 3 years of related professional experience
• Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Smartsheet, Tableau, Python, R, SQL, Power BI
• Experience aggregating data from multiple sources and presenting results
• Onsite work at the OHS Northeast Regional Office
• Knowledge of Head Start program and grant systems desirable

GOH is a small management consulting firm supporting the federal government since 1997 (www.gohnow.com). We are seeking an energetic new team member experienced in Federal grants management to support our Office of Head Start client.

GOH is recruiting in anticipation of potential future openings that are subject to final approval and funding. No guarantee of position availability can be made at this time; however, candidate identification and preliminary interviews are being conducted to support timely hiring should authorization be granted.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of leading grants management data analysis and reporting tasks, as well as serving as the primary data / system point of contact between the functional and technical teams. The successful candidate will be able to conduct complex data collection and analysis while integrating data from multiple sources into a streamlined workflow. You must prepare reports, presentations, trend identification, develop dashboards, and provide high-quality data analyses to support decision‑making and process improvements. You must assist with building, maintaining, and testing databases and IT infrastructure and consolidating data from multiple sources so analysts and team members may easily access and interpret data reliably. Additional consideration for the candidate with analytical visualization, interactive designs, and data story telling experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop databases, reports, and other tools as needed to support efficiencies and process improvement; Maintain and update grants management databases
• Support database administration and oversee maintenance of data, databases, and systems
• Develop, design, and maintain databases utilizing variety of platforms (e.g., Excel, Smartsheet, Python, R, SQL, GIS, Power BI, Tableau, Qualtrics)
• Prepare and maintain project file folders with all completed work products, artifacts, and deliverables
• Develop reports and presentations on analytical findings customized to various audiences
• Translate complex data into visual stories
• Develop engaging data visualizations using Tableau, Power BI, ArcGIS, Figma, Canva, Google Data Studio
• Create and support trainings on database functionality for colleagues and grant recipients
• Stay up to date on necessary technology and processes and show initiative in capturing, documenting, and implementing best practices and lessons learned to improve quality and efficiency of services and solutions
• Lead coordination and develop methodologies to support functional team in execution of daily activities to include data storage, data validation, data analysis, etc. to support project goals
• Test systems, lead test scenarios, and identify/document/remediate all issues
• Support key pre- and post-award grants management activities, such as, but not limited to: annual report tracking, data management and analysis, data entry and QC for routine grantee metrics, correspondence, web content, surveys / forms and information collection tasks, SharePoint sites, preparing analysis and reports, help desk inquiry log, application screening, funding slates, decision letters, project abstracts, G5/GrantSolutions/HSES/etc. administration, closeout functions, and other activities as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required, master's degree and/or relevant certifications preferred
• At least 3 years of related professional experience
• High level of demonstrated proficiency in utilizing a variety of web-based and commercial off-the-shelf data management software packages such as Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Smartsheet, Tableau, Python, R, SQL, Power BI as well as ArcGIS, Figma, Canva, etc.
• High level of demonstrated proficiency in aggregating, analyzing, and presenting data gathered from multiple sources
• Ability to work onsite at the OHS Northeast Regional Office
• Experience and education in education, early childhood education, child development, public administration, family and consumer science or related fields preferred
• Knowledge of Head Start Program and applicable grant systems a major distinguishing feature
