Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/Data Engineering or related field.
• 2–6 years of professional data analysis experience.
• Strong SQL skills to profile and analyze data.
• Experience with data mapping and source-to-target documentation.
• Knowledge of data modeling and canonical data models.
• Understanding of end-to-end data lifecycle and data movement across systems.
• Familiarity with API schema design.
• Strong technical writing to communicate requirements.

Responsibilities

• Profile data sources to assess structure, quality, completeness, and relationships; document findings for mapping decisions.
• Document end-to-end data lineage from origin through transformation to consumption.
• Align source data to canonical/domain data model; map to target structures for database design.
• Apply data elements to API schema design; translate requirements into schemas for implementation.
• Develop and document data rules and MDM practices; ensure data quality.
• Produce data dictionaries, metadata, and lineage artifacts for reuse by teams.
• Communicate technical requirements to engineering and stakeholders; clarify data needs.
• Collaborate with data engineers, architects, and analysts to ensure data meets downstream needs.
