Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or similar analytics role.
• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Analytics, or related field; MS preferred.
• Comfort cleaning, reconciling, and validating messy real-world data across sources.
• Strong communication skills to gather requirements and explain findings clearly.
• Experience mentoring or reviewing work is a plus for senior candidates.

Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and validate data from multiple engineering systems, reconciling inconsistencies across sources.
• Partner with engineering stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into dashboards and reports.
• Build and maintain SQL queries and Python scripts to automate data pulls and reduce manual reporting.
• Conduct root-cause and trend analysis to surface issues and opportunities for improvement.
• Maintain documentation for data sources, definitions, and reporting logic for consistency.
• Perform data quality checks, flagging and resolving discrepancies before stakeholders review outputs.
• For more senior candidates: lead requirements gathering on complex initiatives and mentor junior analysts.
