Job summary

Margo Group seeks a specialist data and analytics professional within the Analytics Integrity team of the Data and Analytics Management department.

The role safeguards the integrity of position, transaction, and computed data across assets, collaborating with Data Referential and Governance colleagues to ensure seamless data flow across portfolio management, middle office, risk, quant, compliance, and finance stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Five+ years in finance, ideally in asset management or related operational roles.
• Strong understanding of how data consumers (PM, middle office, risk, quant, compliance, finance) use data.
• Hands-on experience with data platforms and governance tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate integration of data from referential and external sources into downstream systems, maintaining high data quality and consistency.
• Run first-level database controls and propose process changes to improve data accuracy and efficiency.
• Develop a deep understanding of transformations and computations that generate computed data across firm-wide systems.
• Provide high-quality support to end-users and project teams for complex requests beyond standard procedures.
• Collaborate with Data Referential, IT, and Data Governance teams to resolve transversal data issues and protect end-to-end consistency.
• Identify data issues, assess impact and risk, and propose mitigations to stakeholders.
• Coordinate with major service providers and participate in governance meetings to track and resolve critical data topics.

You will sit on the Analytics Integrity team, partnering with Data Referential and Governance colleagues to ensure seamless data flow across major systems used by portfolio management, middle office, risk, quant, compliance, and finance stakeholders. The role blends hands-on operational data work with cross-team coordination and vendor governance.

Responsibilities

• - Ensure accurate integration of data from referential and external sources into downstream systems, maintaining high data quality and consistency.

Requirements

• - Thorough understanding of operational processes and how major data consumers—portfolio management, middle office, risk, quant, compliance, and financial controllers—use the data.
• - Hands-on application experience with Aladdin or Adjuto.
• - Autonomous approach to investigating and resolving complex end-user requests beyond standard procedures.
• - Ability to understand data in-flows and out-flows, technical architecture, and the business transformations applied to data.
• - Excellent written and verbal communication in English, with the ability to liaise across multiple internal and external parties.
• - Analytical mindset, rigor in control checks, and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating operational risk.

Nice to have
