Pay Range:
The UMass President’s Office expects to pay within an approximate hiring range between $60,000 - $75,000 for this position. The specific pay for this position will be determined by the University based on consideration of all relevant factors when and if it decides to extend an offer of employment.

Job Summary:
Reporting to the Assistant Vice President of Administration & Finance Support Services (Access) Team, the Data Analyst is responsible for developing analysis, reporting, and dashboard capabilities that support operational and strategic decision-making across Administration & Finance.
The Data Analyst will collaborate with data and analytics professionals across the Administration & Finance function, as well as product owners/stakeholders, and A&F leadership, to understand business requirements and translate them into effective analytics solutions. The position will monitor data quality and performance, validate data for accuracy and consistency, and identify opportunities to strengthen reporting processes and controls.
Working closely with IT and other technical partners, the Data Analyst will support the development of data models and the automation of data workflows and reporting processes to improve efficiency, scalability, and reliability. The position is also responsible for designing and developing intuitive, insightful dashboards, reports, and presentations that effectively communicate key performance indicators (KPIs), trends, and actionable insights to stakeholders and leadership.
