Job summary

The New York State Department of Health seeks a Data Analyst 3 to oversee the Data Standards section within the Bureau of Enterprise and Data Governance in Albany. You will supervise data sharing, access governance, data policy, and data stewardship operations to advance analytics capabilities across Medicaid modernization efforts.

Collaborating with business areas, you will drive analytics strategy, align outputs with organizational priorities, and manage staff to ensure data governance

Qualifications

• Nine years of experience in data visualization, statistical models, and data mining tools.
• Experience in data governance, preferably in the healthcare sector.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience engaging with technical and policy stakeholders to elicit requirements and business needs.
• One year of supervisory experience preferred
