Akkodis is seeking a Data Analyst for a 12-month contract in Richmond, VA. The role focuses on backbook analysis, data migration, and ensuring data quality across legacy systems.

Responsibilities include data discovery, mapping, discrepancy resolution, and collaboration with tech and business teams. Requires 5+ years in data-focused roles and strong Snowflake/Databricks/SQL/Python skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of real-world experience as a Data Analyst or similar technical data-focused role.
• Extensive hands-on proficiency in Snowflake, Google Suite, Databricks, SQL, and Python.
• Deep understanding of complex data architecture, data quality frameworks, and data manipulation.
• Proven ability to dive deep into legacy datasets and drive analytical outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Backbook Data Analysis: lead data discovery to identify legacy data schemas required for migration.
• Drive Priority Migrations: support migration timelines across Bankruptcy, Deceased/Estates, Levies & Garnishments, and Charge-Offs.
• Data Mapping & Translation: map legacy attributes to destination systems like Customer Core and AccountsCBP.
• Discrepancy Resolution: resolve data discrepancies to establish the true source of truth for the Bank.
• Define Migration Logic: determine business logic for active/ended restrictions across accounts.
• Technical Execution: use SQL, Python, Snowflake, and Databricks for large-scale extractions and validation.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: work with Tech Leads, Data Stewards, and Business teams.
