  • Develop and implement evaluation and analysis plans.
  • Contribute as author to reports, proposals, presentations and publications.
  • Summarize and present statistical findings and stakeholder reports to audiences.

Data Analyst

Location: Warwick, RI
Experience: 1+ years healthcare data analytics experience
Education: A minimum of a bachelor's degree in epidemiology, biostatistics, health services research, public health, health informatics, or a related field is required. A master's degree in any of these disciplines is preferred.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement appropriate statistical programs to analyze data; does so for multiple projects and on multiple project teams.
  • Applies methodological knowledge and skill to ensure appropriate data analysis and reporting in all areas.
  • Maintain data for multiple project teams; trends, charts and graphs quality measure data.
  • Develop data collection tools or surveys using REDCap or SurveyMonkey.
  • Develop and implement evaluation and analysis plans.
  • Serve as contributing author to reports, proposals, presentations and publications.
  • Summarize and present statistical and/or research findings, analytic methodologies and stakeholder reports to internal and external audiences.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in epidemiology, biostatistics, health services research, public health, health informatics, or a related field is required. A master’s degree in any of these disciplines is preferred.
  • 1+ years' healthcare data analytics experience.
  • Microsoft Excel experience is required.
  • Experience in Python, PySpark or SQL is required.
  • Microsoft Power BI experience is preferred.
  • Experience in analyzing health insurance claims is preferred.

The salary range for this position is $60,000 to $75,000 based upon the candidate's relevant experience. Most qualified candidates will fall within the mid-point of this range.
